Article on Ella, a deer who made her home at Elmwood Cemetery at Truman Road and Van Brunt Boulevard. Born in the cemetery in 2011, Ella became a common site to volunteers, visitors, and mourners. She often followed funeral processions from the chapel to gravesites and looked in on picnics and gatherings. Ella was found mysteriously shot dead in the cemetery, and the board is deciding on an appropriate resting spot for her ashes.
