Description of Beimdiek, a native of Saint Louis trained in law, moving to Carthage in 1905, organizing the Superior Marble & Limestone Company, later called the Ozark Company, in 1910 helping to open the Myers Quarry there, and between 1913 and 1921 taking control of the Carthage Marble & White Lime Company, then in 1928 becoming "president of the First National Bank of Carthage."
